By accessing or using BuildLedger, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
BuildLedger provides a platform connecting homeowners, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for construction project management, standardized bidding, contract generation, payment processing, and project tracking.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
All payment processing is handled through Stripe. BuildLedger does not directly handle or store payment card information. Payment processing fees may apply as described on our Pricing page.
While BuildLedger facilitates verification of contractor identity, licensing, and insurance, we do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by contractors. Homeowners should independently verify contractor qualifications.
BuildLedger provides tools for dispute documentation and mediation but is not a party to contracts between homeowners and contractors. Disputes are ultimately between the contracting parties.
BuildLedger is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
